Flint: Former soldiers mural tribute to fallen soldier completed

A mural painted on the side of a Flint pub honouring service personnel both past and present has been completed today, Friday October 30.

The mural bearing three soldiers amongst crosses and overlooked by Flint Castle with the words  ‘Lest We Forget’ has been painted by artist and soldier Brian Powell is painting the side of the Royal Oak in Flint.

The idea came from Mitchell Hodson, 28, who saw a similar mural in Staffordshire.
