Shotton: Photo’s of man taken moments after its alleged he viciously abused his own dog go ‘viral’ on Facebook

A Facebook user posted pictures of a man taken just moments after its claimed he viciously abused his Staffordshire bull terrier.

The Women wrote on her Facebook page:

“Please someone tell me they know who this man is ??? (reference to the pictures she had taken) I caught him dragging his dog, on it’s back and being strangled through Shotton around an hour ago, a brindle colour Staffordshire bull terrier”

She continued:

“I turned around and caught him around the back of Bengal dynasty where I disturbed him and confronted him but I highly presume he was going to beat the dog again”

“The police have been contacted along with the RSPCA I do have a video also but I won’t post due to language. Please share this.”

The status update was posted onto the North Clwyd Animal Rescue closed forum page which has around 8500 members.

Within minutes outraged animal lovers from all over Wales had reshared the post to all their friends.

Comments followed thick and fast, all expressing disgust at the alleged mistreatment of the animal, interestingly one commenter recognised the man from a similar incident in Queensferry last week and posted a screen grab of a comment made last Friday:

By late evening the name of the male concerned had been given to the Facebook user who vowed to pass it onto the Police along with the pictures.
