Police are appealing for information after releasing CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to regarding an alleged burglary near Chester Train Station.

The incident occurred at approximately 7.35pm on Monday 16 December at an office block off Queens Road.

According to police, the suspect forced entry into the building, stealing a quantity of cash and an Xbox before leaving the scene.

Officers investigating the case believe the man captured in the CCTV images could hold key information about the burglary.

Police Constable James Wright, of Chester Proactive Team, said: “We would like to appeal to anyone who recognises the man pictured in the CCTV image to get in touch with us.

“The same goes for anyone with any information in relation to the incident. We would also urge the man pictured to contact us.”

The public is encouraged to provide any relevant information by visiting cheshire.police.uk/tell-us or calling 101, quoting reference 24001057620.

Police hope the release of the images will prompt members of the community to come forward, assisting in their investigation to bring the suspect to justice.
