Housebuilder Bellway has launched a mortgage contribution campaign that could enable buyers to save up to £24,000 on new-build homes in Deeside.

This initiative comes as a response to the escalating living costs and aims to provide financial relief, especially for first-time buyers.

The offer, which runs until Thursday 30th November 2023, is exclusively available on select plots at Summers Bridge on Welsh Road.

The campaign serves as a follow-up to the Government’s “Help to Buy” initiative, which concluded last year. With its termination, Bellway recognised the continued need to support buyers, prompting them to launch this timely scheme.

Jenny Bell, Bellway’s Sales Director, emphasised the company’s commitment to assisting those looking to buy, stating, “With the launch of our new mortgage contribution scheme, we are offering our customers significant support in the purchase of their new-build home… Those looking to find a larger home, downsize or even relocate will also feel the benefit, as we build homes for a variety of buyers from all walks of life.”

Besides the considerable monetary savings, buyers will enjoy additional advantages with Bellway’s houses.

New builds are designed with energy efficiency in mind, potentially saving homeowners an average of £1,620 annually on fuel expenses in contrast to similar-sized older homes.

To further enhance energy savings and tech integration, all new homes constructed by Bellway will come equipped with Google Nest thermostats as standard.

According to Google’s assessments, these smart thermostats can lead to a reduction in energy bills by up to 16 per cent.
