Arriva Buses Wales have announced today they will start operating their premier Sapphire bus service on the number 10 Connah’s Quay to Chester route in the new year.

The new buses are much more modern and spacious than those that currently service the route, they come with a host of features including free Wi-Fi and device charging points, luxury high back seats, audio-visual announcements and CCTV for added security.

As well as the new features the Sapphire service also offers a ‘no quibble’ money back guarantee centred around a customer charter which sets Arriva’s commitments on things like reliability, punctuality, frequency and cleanliness and guarantees your money back if you’re not satisfied.

The Sapphire buses have been in operation in Wrexham since 2013 and from reports have been a huge success.

You can read a review of the service on sister site Wrexham.com by their resident transport expert who took a ride on one of them and then wrote about it: here

No date has been announced as yet as to when the service will start.
