Woman airlifted to hospital following an accident in Flintshire this morning.

A woman was airlifted to hospital following a collision in Carmel this morning.

The Wales Air Ambulance attended the scene of the accident at 8.40 this morning, the ambulance service also sent an ‘immediate care’ doctor to the scene of the accident.

The woman was airlifted to near by Ysbyty Glan Clwyd following the accident the extent of her injuries are unknown.

The nature of the accident and vehicles involved are also unknown, Police say they didn’t attended the incident.

A Wales Ambulance spokesman said;

“We were called at about 8.40am to reports of a road traffic collision on Allt y Golch, Carmel.

The Wales Air Ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and a BASICS doctor attended the scene and a woman was airlifted to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd.”
