Send your Spring photo’s to the Flintshire countryside events calendar comp.

A competition to find photographs to illustrate the Flintshire countryside events calendar in 2015 is looking for Spring entries.

The theme for this year is ‘People enjoying Flintshire Countryside’.

Organised by Flintshire County Council’s Countryside Service, the entries for each season are put on display in Wepre Park Visitor Centre and the winning entries are voted for by the general public.

Pictures will used in the calendar with the overall winning photograph appearing on the front cover.

The competition is now open for entries for spring 2015, pictures need to be submitted by 6 June and will go on display at the park between 16 – 30 June.

There is a maximum of five entries per person.

Email or send a disc of the chosen photographs (please ensure they are more than 1mB (megabyte) in size) to Wepre Park Visitors Centre, Wepre Park, Connah’s Quay, Flintshire CH5 4HL or [email protected] stating the Spring section, include your name, age, address and telephone number.

The photograph must be original work; no professional contributions will be accepted. No children are to be included in the photographs unless names and permissions are included from the parent/guardian, who must also state that the photo can be used. The photograph cannot be returned and will be the property of the Countryside Service for use in publications and the 2015 events programme.
