South Flintshire Local Policing team are appealing to parents in Saltney to warn their children about the dangers of playing on the roofs of industrial units in the town.

Youngsters have been spotted via CCTV footage climbing on the roofs of units on the  Brynau Four Estate, River Lane in Saltney.

Officers say they know who the offenders are and will be speaking to them in due course.

In an update on social media police said;

We are having repeated reports of children climbing on the roofs at that location.

I would hate to be the officer that has to tell their parents that they have fallen through the roof and are seriously injured or worse.

We do have names and photos of these youths and they will be getting a visit from police.

Please warn your children of the consequences of this dangerous activity.
