Updated: Police find car involved in a ‘fail to stop’ collision in Buckley

Updated: Police say they have recovered the Vauxhall Vectra they were searching for following an incident in Buckley.

North Wales Roads Policing Unit issued an appeal for witnesses to a ‘fail to stop’ collision which happened on Thursday

Police say a A Silver/Grey Vauxhall Vectra was involved in the collision on Linthorpe Road in Buckley just before 8.30am.

Following the collision the Vectra was driven off damaging a two further vehicles.

In an update on social media a spokesperson for North Wales Roads Policing Unit said:

“Good news is that a damaged silver coloured Vauxhall Vectra was recovered in the vicinity this morning.

This will now be the subject of a forensic examination and our enquiries are ongoing.”

Police have thanked the public for sharing the appeal on social media.
