North Wales Police warn of rise in arson incidents across north Flintshire

North Wales Police say they are dealing with a rise in arson incidents across north Flintshire.
Officers say the majority of recent fires have involved children and teenagers.
Some fires have been started in wooded areas, where police say they can spread quickly in the current dry weather.
Others have been set in commercial bins, which officers say carries a serious risk of damage or harm near buildings.
North Wales Police are asking parents to speak to their children about the dangers of setting fires.
The force said anyone identified as responsible would be dealt with.
The warning came as part of a daily policing update for the north Flintshire area.
Officers logged 60 calls for service in the area over a 24 hour period, 16 of which were treated as priority incidents requiring an immediate response.
Those calls included three domestic incidents, three concern for safety incidents and four reports of anti-social behaviour.
Police made four arrests during the period, with all four remaining in custody.
One arrest was on suspicion of threats to kill, two were in connection with domestic related assault, and one was made under a court warrant.
Twenty seven incidents were logged for further investigation, of which seven had been recorded as crimes at the time of the update.
