Parkgate Road in Mollington back open following earlier collision

Update: the A540 Parkgate Road in Mollington has reopened following earlier collision.

Earlier report: Parkgate Road in Mollington is currently blocked due to a three vehicle collision.

In an update on social media Chester Police said:

“The A540 Parkgate Road is currently closed in Mollington following a collision involving 3 vehicles.

There are not believed to be any injuries but the road is currently blocked as a result of the incident.”

Latest traffic report for the area states:

“Road blocked and queueing traffic due to accident , three vehicles involved on A540 Parkgate Road both ways at Long Lane. Affecting traffic between Chester and the Two Mills Traffic Lights.”
