A man who bought his daughter a chicken wrap from the A55 McDonald’s in Northop claims his 10-year-old was nearly sick when she realised she was eating dead frog!

Dave Buckley, of Moreton, Wirral, was travelling along the A55 in Flintshire with his daughter Cordellia when the pair stopped at the McDonalds on the Gateway services in Northop.

Mr Buckley bought Cordellia a £1.99 sweet chilli chicken wrap – he claims that when she started to eat it she bit down on something tough and chewy, on further inspection it turned out to be a four-inch dead frog.

Dave says his daughter has been put off fast food for life he said:

‘She only had a little bit before she felt something funny in her mouth.

‘She spat it into her hand and said ‘Ew, this is horrible. What is is?’ Then she said, ‘It’s a frog! It’s a frog!’

‘I was driving down the motorway and she was freaking out. She was going to be sick. I told her not to be silly and to put it into the bag.

‘Cordellia never wants to go to a McDonald’s again and has been put off fast food for life.

McDonald’s say the customer did not raise it with anyone at the restaurant at the time and have asked Mr Buckley to return the item so they can investigate further.
