Mild temperatures set to continue as Hawarden hits an unseasonal 14°C today

Hawarden was one of the warmest places in the UK today with temperatures reaching an unseasonal high of 14°C that’s around 6°C higher than mid December averages for the area.

Thursday looks set to be similar in terms of temperatures and fairly wet throughout the course of the day.

Weather warnings for heavy rain are in place for parts of north Wales though not for Flintshire.

So, the big question many are asking: will it be a white Christmas this year?
