Fleet of festive Minis deliver donations to local children’s hospice

Fourteen fantastically festive Mini cars brought smiles and presents to families at a local children’s hospice as well as fundraising a fantastic £730.
On Saturday 14 December, North West Minis set off on a trip from Broughton via Bala and Corwen to finish up at Tŷ Gobaith children’s hospice in the Conwy Valley to make a very generous donation of gifts and funds.
Almost 30 members made the trip to deliver gifts they had purchased themselves.
They enjoyed a tour of the unique facilities, tea and cakes and put on a light display for children and families who attend the hospice.
One of the club members, Lisa Harbour is also a lawyer for Swayne Johnson Solicitors who themselves are big supporters of the hospice.

“North West Minis and Swayne Johnson are both incredibly proud to support this wonderful cause in any way we can,” said Lisa.
“It was a privilege to visit properly and bring smiles to the faces of children and families there with our quirky cars.
“We dressed our Minis up in lights, tinsel and even a Christmas tree at a nearby carpark and arrived in convoy.
“It’s such a beautiful place and we’re thrilled so many people made it.”
Tŷ Gobaith fundraiser, Vanessa Marubbi was there on the afternoon ad said: “What a treat this was for the children at the hospice.
“The brightly coloured and decorated cars made a real impact and looked just fabulous.
“It was a pleasure to welcome North West Minis and we’re so grateful for their support along with that of Swayne Johnson.”
