Contractor and property developer Pochin’s has completed a 27,000 sq ft head office at Hawarden Business Park in Deeside for CSA Group Testing UK.

The HQ is the first new-build development within the Deeside Enterprise Zone.

The building was officially completed this week and handed over to CSA, the company formerly known as Sira Site Testing & Certification is a leading global provider of testing and certification.

The new HQ will be open by May following specialist internal building work.

The 40-acre Hawarden Business Park scheme is being delivered in a partnership between the Welsh Government and Pochin’s, with the support of the Enterprise Zone and Flintshire County Council.

The partnership aims to create a business park for high tech engineering, laboratories, R&D, manufacturing and distribution.

Knight Frank advised CSA on its relocation from Chester with Legat Owen and JLL acting for Pochin’s.

Speaking at a ceremony to mark the completion, Bob Nicholson, development director of Pochin’s, said:

“It is an absolute privilege to hand over this new head office building to CSA and we look forward to bringing further developments and new occupiers to the business park as future plans for Deeside and North Wales accelerate.”
