Connahs Quay: £800 worth of cricket equipment stolen from cricket club

Police are appealing for information following a break in to storage cupboard at Connah`s Quay cricket club, Cable Street, Connah’s Quay recently.

Approximately eight hundred pounds worth of cricket equipment was taken.

It is thought the equipment was stolen between 1st March and the 11th March 2014.

Community leaders in Connah’s Quay have joined the appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

 

Alyn and Deeside AM Carl Sargeant said:

“It’s always upsetting to hear of local sports clubs and community groups being targeted in incidents like this, especially when they do so much for the community.

“I would urge anyone with information, or anyone who is offered any sports equipment in suspicious circumstances, to get in touch with police.”
