Each themed session features an engaging talk about an aspect of space or stargazing and includes a journey through the solar system in our StarDome Planetarium.

There will also be hands on activities and, of course – weather permitting – the chance for some actual stargazing with telescopes and several experts on-hand with advice!

The cost is just £5 per person (adult or child) with a 10% discount for valid Annual Passholders.

The seasons:

  • Why do we have seasons?
  • What happens with the Earth’s seasons?
  • Do other planets have them?

These questions and more will be covered in the special live science show delivered as part of the evening’s activities.

In Techniquest Glyndwr’s inflatable StarDome planetarium you will be able to see the changes in the night sky you can observe as summer gives way to autumn and winter.

And we have some special ‘hands on’ activity related to the seasons for the younger members of the astronomy club.
