Deestriders runner Angela Deeley has represented Wales at the Masters International match against England, held at the Bideford 10k.

Her selection is one of several headline results from a packed spell for the Deeside-based club, with members posting times across fell races, road events and trail runs in north Wales and north west England.

In the Borders League, which finished with a team relay in Prestatyn, Kevin Burns took third place in the V70 category overall.

Three Deestriders teams entered the Chirk Castle relay on Thursday.

The men’s team Falesia Breakfast completed the course in 47:32 and the mixed team We Got Rid Of Joe finished in 58:31.

The Green Pixies, made up of Christine Cammillare, Hannah Price and Lisa Cooper, ran 49:31 to take second female team for the second year running.

At the Moel Lus fell race on 5 May, Paul Lewtey clocked 32:47, Cammillare 35:43 and Fred Aird 39:19.

Aird and Cammillare also competed at the Dinas Bran fell race on Wednesday.

The club logged a run of personal best times at the Christleton 5k.
