Burst water main hits supplies in Connah’s Quay

News and Info from Deeside, Flintshire, North Wales

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water is investigating a burst water main affecting supplies in Connah’s Quay.

The company says the fault may leave some homes with low pressure or no water until the pipe is repaired.

Welsh Water expects supplies to be fully restored by late afternoon on Friday.

Separately, the company is also investigating discoloured water affecting customers in Pen Y Maes, Holywell.

Welsh Water says that issue is also expected to clear during the afternoon.

The company has advised customers affected by discolouration to run their cold kitchen tap to help clear it.

Both issues were listed as under investigation on Welsh Water’s live network status page as of 1.33pm on Thursday.

Welsh Water said it would provide further updates as they become available.
