Train services between Wrexham Central and Bidston are facing delays and cancellations this morning due to a police incident near the railway.

According to the Transport for Wales (TfW) website, trespassers in the Wrexham area have led to speed restrictions on all lines, affecting services between the two stations.

Disruption is expected to continue until at least midday, TfW states.

TfW states: “Buses are being sourced to run between Wrexham Central and Bidston to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. Please check back shortly for an estimated time of arrival.”

“Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.”
