For their first charity event of the academic year, the children and staff had fun wearing silly socks for the day. Parents and staff donated £1 each to Coleg Cambria’s chosen charity of the year, North East Wales Hospices (Nightingale House Hospice, St Kentigerns and Hope House). Socktober was organised by Nightingale House Hospice with many other businesses taking part during October to raise funds for the Hospice.

Nursery Manager, Ann Johnson said: “The children thoroughly enjoyed comparing their silly socks with each other. Silly socks included superheroes, multi-colours, socks that looked like shoes, scary socks and stripy socks. We are looking forward to our forthcoming fundraising events to raise money for North East Wales Hospices.”
