Stunning pre-season line up for gap Connahs Quay including a match against Dinamo Bucharest.

gap Connah’s Quay have announced fantastic pre season line up which includes matches against one time Euorpean Cup semi finalists and regular UEFA Champions’ League entrants Dinamo Bucharest and Bulgarian Champions PFC Ludogorets who reached the last sixteen of the UEFA Europa league last season.

Following the success of The Nomads Academy sides in their European Tours and in particular, their recent U15 victory over Athletico Madrid last season, according to the club north Wales has become the ‘fashionable place’ to prepare for some of Europe’s finest teams.

Nomads will also take on a very strong Cardiff City Development Squad who will make the trip north where former striker Rhys Healey will make his return to Deeside Stadium.

The side will be managed by former Wales international, Craig Bellamy.

The Nomads will also be the first Welsh side host the new giants of the non-league circuit as ex Celtic and Ross County manager Willie McStay will bring his  footballing equivalent of London Irish, the new and rising Celtic Nation FC, to Deeside Stadium on Saturday 19th July.

Edinburgh based Heart of Midlothian (Hearts),will pay a flying visit as they use the Deeside Stadium for a training session prior to departing to play Preston North End.
