Stunning Flintshire sunset captured on Camera

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Two of our favourite local ‘snappers’ have captured some stunning images from Saturday evening’s beautiful sunset.
Once again we’ve been treated to a dramatic fiery sunset with brilliant shades of orange, red and purple
Mark Atkins sent a wonderful picture taken of the sky above Mancot with it’s deep tones and dark clouds as the summer sun sets for another day.
Twitter account @FlintshireSkies sent a set of pictures taken from Hope Mountain, they also include two fantastic pictures of the moon which is in the ‘Waxing Gibbous’ phase, when the moon is more than 50% illuminated but not yet a full moon.
Another picture shows the huge wind turbines off in the distant north Wales coast, while a particular favourite is a cracking picture of nature’s master of stationary flight the Kestral, one is seen hunting and hovering above unsuspecting prey below.
