Save up to 60% on fertilizer: smart resource management with FieldBee

News and Info from Deeside, Flintshire, North Wales

In agriculture precise resource management is essential to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Unsustainable use of fertilizers can lead to overuse, soil deterioration and reduced yields. With precision farming technologies, farmers can optimize fertilizer application, reducing their consumption by up to 60% without compromising yields.

Key technologies of FieldBee for reducing fertilizer consumption

Saving fertilizers allows you to reduce the costs of agricultural production, maintaining high yields. Precise application of fertilizers also prevents the leaching of nutrients into the soil, reducing the negative impact on the environment and improving long-term soil fertility. Ways to reduce fertilizer consumption with FieldBee products:

  • precise trajectory following with automatic steering. The FieldBee PowerSteer system automatically keeps the equipment on a set trajectory with minimal deviations. This eliminates overlaps and gaps in fertiliser application, reducing overspray and ensuring uniform field coverage;
  • using a manual steering system to improve accuracy. Guidance system tools to driverless tractors help drivers to control more accurately the trajectory of movement during manual control, reducing errors that can lead to repeated processing of the same areas or, conversely, gaps. This is especially useful during working on complex terrain and in narrow row spacings;
  • using RTK receivers for maximum accuracy. FieldBee RTK receivers provide navigation accuracy of up to 2 cm, which allows for high-precision fertilisation even over large areas. This prevents over-fertilisation in some areas and under-fertilisation in others, promoting uniform plant growth and reducing material costs;
  • automatic adjustment of fertiliser application rates via ISOBUS. The system analyses plant condition data and automatically adjusts fertiliser application rates depending on the needs of the soil and crops. This allows you to apply exactly the amount of fertilizer needed, without overspending, improving crop nutrition and reducing costs;
  • real-time mapping and creating fertilizer application maps. Thanks to Tractor GPS Navigation, farmers receive accurate field data, which allows them to create detailed fertilizer application maps. This makes it possible to plan work in advance, adjust dosages in different areas of the field and exclude processing where fertilizers have already been applied;
  • reducing fertilizer losses by reducing leaching and evaporation. When fertilizers are applied evenly and in the right quantities, plants have time to absorb them, and excess is not washed away by rain or does not evaporate. This not only saves resources, but also reduces the negative impact on the environment.

Also, automated FieldBee systems record already processed areas, preventing re-application of fertilizers. This is especially useful during working on large fields, where manual control is not always possible.

Why are FieldBee products the best choice for any farmer?

FieldBee products are the ideal solution for farmers seeking high precision, efficiency and resource savings. Innovative automatic and manual steering systems, RTK navigation and intelligent fertilizer management help to minimize costs, reduce crop losses and increase productivity. Easy integration with agricultural machinery, a user-friendly interface and high precision make FieldBee an affordable and reliable choice for all farmers.
