Arriva Wales website says

Owing to a person hit by a train between Bidston and Shotton trains have to run at reduced speed on all lines.

Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 mins at short notice. An estimate for the resumption of normal services will be provided as soon as the problem has been fully assessed.

Bus replacement transport is in place at Shotton High Level and Bidston. Additional buses are now in service.
Buses will operate Shotton HL – Bidston all stops.

Buses will operate Bidston – Shotton HL all stops, then set-down only to Wrexham Central.

This is due to an on-going serious Police incident in the Dee Marsh to Neston area, trains are subject to delay and cancellation. Buses replace train until further notice, using Pat’s Coaches.
