RAF Typhoon makes an appearance over Hawarden – noisy!

A Eurofighter Typhoon (like the one pictured above) confirmed by Hawarden Airport to be from the RAF made a noisy appearance in the sky’s above Flintshire and Cheshire this afternoon , the jet, made by a consortium including Airbus and BAE was seen and heard for around half an hour.

Its not known the reason for the its appearnce only thoery from the team at our ‘sister’ site Wrexham.com suggests “Currently there is a large NATO conference occurring in South Wales, so we assume the activity today is related to that either in terms of security or part of the ‘air parade’ due tomorrow” – we’ll go with that for now….
