North Wales Police have reissued an appeal for help in finding 14 year old schoolgirl Kelsey Bodman who went missing from Wrexham on Thursday.

Officers now say there was a confirmed sighting of Kelsey in Flint at 8am on Friday morning.

Previously she had been sighted in Hightown, Wrexham at 4:15pm on Thursday after getting off the school bus, and then later that evening around 11pm in Wrexham ASDA.

Since the confirmed sighting in Flint on Friday she has not been seen however, in an update posted on twitter by North Wales Police in the early hours of Saturday morning, they revealed Kelsey could be travelling in a white Audi A1 – this was later eliminated from police enquires.

Her family have conducted searches on foot and by car, and face to face appeals, including asking people in Wrexham town centre today if they had seen missing Kelsey.

The police appeal states: “It is believed she is still in her school uniform which is a grey skirt and Clark’s shoes with a navy blue bomber jacket as her coat’ – however there are unconfirmed suggestions online by friends that she could be wearing an adidas crop top, with black leggings and Stan Smiths trainers.

The appeal continues to be circulated on the North Wales Police Facebook page – where it has been shared over 10,000 times by residents across the region.

Anyone with any sightings or further information is advised to contact North Wales Police on 101 quoting Reference Number 16495.
