Police incident in Shotton – images (but not much of a story!)

An incident took place along Chester Road East on Thursday 5th June, at around 3pm a number of Police vehicles were seen turning into Shotton Lane.
Two of the cars parked on St Elthelwolds Church car park while two officers went to the door, a baptism demonstration for children from St Elthelwolds school had just finished and parents were picking up their children.
Further along Chester Road on Charlie’s store carpark a Police scenes of crime officer was seen working on the side door of a white Renault van.
Three Police vehicles then raced from the direction of Shotton towards the neighbouring car park, officers ‘decamped’ the vehicles leaving them along the roadside and ran up the embankment onto the car park.
Moments later the officers, around 5 in total walked back to a waiting police van with a male in custody.
We’ve asked North Wales Police about the incident and are awaiting a response, more as, if, or when we get it…..
