Police arrest driver following a collision in Oakenholt

Update: Road has reopened..

Police say the driver of a car involved in a collision this morning on Chester Road in Oakenholt has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving.

The two car crash happened around 9.30am on the Pentre Hill section of A548 Chester Road, close to the Yacht Pub.

It’s unknown at the moment if anyone was hurt in the crash.

Police have said:

“Please avoid Chester Road #Oakenholt#Flint following a two vehicle RTC. The road will be closed while both vehicles are recovered. A man has been arrested for drink driving.”
