Woman assaulted in Connah's Quay – Police appeal for witnesses.

Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident in Ridgeway Close, Connah’s Quay, at approx 9pm on Monday, December 29.

During the incident a woman was assaulted by a male suspect and received minor injuries to her abdomen.

Detective Sergeant Simon Kneale, who is based at Mold CID said:

“Our inquiries are continuing and we would like to hear from anybody who may have seen anybody acting suspiciously in the area at that time and can offer further information to come forward and speak to us.”

A Welsh Ambulance spokesperson said:

“We were called by police at 9.11pm last night to an incident on Ridgeway Close in Connah’s Quay, we responded with an emergency ambulance, and a woman in her 20s was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital.”
