Police appeal for information after horse shot dead in Flintshire

North Wales Police Rural Crime Team has launched an appeal for information after horse was shot dead near Hope Mountain.

The incident is believed to have happened overnight between Saturday and Sunday.

Posting an update on twitter police rural crime team officers said;

“Single shot killed this beautiful horse.”

“We need the public’s help. Someone will know and this is a truly awful offence.

They also posted two shocking images of the dead horse.

Many have been left shocked at the senseless killing of the horse, commenting on the twitter one person said;

Another comment came from  Chief Supt Nigel Wenham. Head Cheshire Police Public Protection Directorate tweeted;

Another twitter comment echoed the sentiment of many;
