Pensioner left with life threatening injuries after being struck by a van in Shotton.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on Central Drive in Shotton which has left a 73 year old man seriously injured.

The incident happened at 18:45 on Saturday evening when the male pedestrian was in collision with a white Renault Traffic van. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

As a result of the collision the man sustained what Police describe as ‘life threatening injuries.’ ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Police are appealing for anybody who saw the white van prior to the incident or the collision itself to contact them on 101 quoting reference R015433  ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​
