Out and about with the Deeside ramblers this June

June is a great month to get out and explore the countryside, it is also a fantastic time of the year to enjoy a walk while in the company of like-minded people.

Walking has a range of health benefits, its a great way to keep fit, it’s also a very sociable activity when you join one of the Deeside ramblers organised walks.

A variety of walks are scheduled in the June programme of walks with the Deeside ramblers including;

  • 7pm, Wednesday 3 June, Northop and Sychdyn, meeting at village carpark, Northop. (5 miles)
  • 7pm, Tuesday 9 June, Buckley heritage trail, meeting at Etna car park, Globe Way. (4.5 miles)
  • 10am, Thursday 11 June, Whitford, meeting at Whitford Church. (5 miles) Optional pub lunch.
  • 10am, Sunday 14 June, Tarporley and Beeston Round, meeting at car park behind Rising Sun PH. (7.5 miles)
  • 10am, Wednesday 24 June, Holt/Farndon, meeting at Cross Street, car park. (4.5 miles) Optional pub lunch.
  • 7pm, Thursday 25 June, Hawarden Round, meeting at Tinkersdale carpark. (5 miles)
  • 10am, Saturday 27 June, Cadair Berwyn/ Cadair Bronwen, meeting at Llandrillo car park. (10 miles)
  • 7pm, Tuesday 30 June, Cilcain Round, meeting at the old waterworks. (4.5 miles)
