Flintshire, Wrexham and Cheshire are amongst many area’s in the UK affected by an ongoing O2 phone network problem.

Locally we’ve had reports of 02 network users in Connah’s Quay, Broughton, Hawarden and Aston struggling to make calls, send text messages and use data.

O2 have put up a ‘one liner’ on their support page saying:

“We are aware of isolated instances across the UK where some O2 customers are currently experiencing intermittent service. We are investigating the situation and will update as soon as possible.”

The customer service team appear to be stuck for options and have defaulted to the ‘if in doubt turn it off and on again” routine.

O2’s online network status checker says phone masts are working in Deeside.

Business Secretary Sajid Javid has told O2 to sort the problem out.

While @daveb257 thinks knocking some money of his bill would be decent compensation.
