North East Wales Search and Rescue (NEWSAR) were called out on Sunday following a report of a young person in difficulty on the summit of Moel Famau.

The weather conditions were quite poor at the time with strong winds and heavy rain/sleet showers. While the team was on the way the casualty’s friends assisted them off the summit and eventually they reached the road as we were arriving.
