Missing Michelle Webster found safe in Penrhyn Bay, Conwy

Michelle Walker who had been missing from the Sheffield area since Saturday 13th December has been found.

She was found this morning Wednesday 17 December  by someone walking their dog in Penrhyn Bay, Conwy, 

She has been taken to hospital and her family has been notified.

Detective Chief Inspector Steve Whittaker from South Yorkshire Police said:

“I am absolutely delighted that Michelle has been found and we are able to share this good news with her family, friends and the public who have helped so much in sharing our appeals. 

“I am indebted to the support we have had from North Wales Police, who conducted extensive enquiries alongside our officers to bring Michelle home safely for Christmas.

“Thank you to the public in South Yorkshire and Wales who shared our appeal so widely and sent so many messages of support. I’d also like to thank the dog walker who found Michelle this morning and alerted the authorities.

“The Mountain Rescue, the Missing People charity and other organisations who have dedicated time and effort to this search have also been integral to this enquiry.

“I am also grateful for the media’s support.”
