Junior World Rally Championship driver Osian Pryce will be visiting Glyndŵr University this Friday ahead of this year’s Wales Rally GB.

The rising Welsh star of motorsport is taking his Citroen DS3 car to the university’s performance car workshop from 3pm.

Osian is touring North and Mid Wales this week to promote the annual rally event, which runs from November 12-15.

Olivier Durieux, senior lecturer in mechanical engineering at Glyndŵr University, said: “Osian is establishing a name for himself within the motorsport and we’re delighted that he’s visiting us here at Glyndŵr University.

“Many of our students will be looking to enter the motorsport industry when they graduate and this is a fantastic opportunity to hear from someone at the heart of it.”

22-year-old Osian, from Machynlleth, began driving aged 12 and by 16 was competing at national level in rally championships. In 2011 he entered his first British Rally Championship and took ownership of his current car in 2012.
