Gwella offers festive family activities across Flintshire
Families across Flintshire still looking for ways to keep children active and entertained over the Christmas holidays are being encouraged to make the most of a range of indoor activities available at Gwella leisure sites between Christmas and New Year.
With children off school and more time spent indoors during the festive period, Gwella’s holiday sessions offer opportunities for children to stay active, burn off energy, and take a break from screens.
Gwella’s Inflatable Park, Ice Rink, Ten Pin Bowling, Indoor Skate Park and inflatable pool sessions provide weather-proof, family-friendly options throughout the school holidays, with activities running across Deeside and Flint.
Highlights include:
• Inflatable Park sessions for energetic play at Deeside Leisure Centre
• Inflatable sessions at the swimming pool
• Public ice skating for all abilities at Deeside Ice Rink
• Indoor skating at Deeside Indoor Skate Park
• Family Ten Pin Bowling at the Jade Jones Pavilion in Flint
All sessions are available to pre-book online, with multiple time slots open throughout the festive period while schools remain closed.
A spokesperson for Gwella said families are encouraged to plan ahead: “Places can fill quickly during the holidays, so we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.”
