The  directors at gap, decided to attempt the Three Peaks Challenge after being inspired by the story of Brook Hill, a schoolboy who was seriously injured in a skiing accident.

Nine-year-old Brook, from Cheshire, is making a slow but steady recovery after an out-of-control skier ploughed into him during a family holiday in the Pyrenees on February 17, causing him to fall into a coma.

All proceeds from the gap directors’ charity challenge – the first such fundraising event in the company’s history – will go to theBrook Hill Foundation. Funds donated to the foundation will be administered by Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services (LCVS).

The challenge will see us attempting to scale Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon inside a day on the weekend of September 28th-29th 2013.

This is about raising as much money as possible for a fantastic cause, so all donations – no matter how big or small – will be gratefully received.

This will be the first ever gap directors’ charity challenge, so we are determined to conquer the three peaks and make a real difference to the lives of children across Britain.
