gap Connah’s Quay manager Allan Bickerstaff has been awarded Corbett Sports WPL Manager of the Month for April and for the second time this season.

Bickerstaff guided The Nomads to a 100% record throughout April with wins over Bangor City, Carmarthen Town and Prestatyn Town. Those three wins and nine points earned gap the elusive seventh place in the WPL Play-Off Conference during Phase Two.

That meaning they will either have to face Rhyl FC in a one-off match to face Airbus UK Broughton if Newtown AFC win the FAW Welsh Cup or go straight into the WPL Play-Off Semi-Final against Aberystwyth Town if The New Saints win the FAW Welsh Cup.
