Wednesday 8th October – Flood Warning from Parkgate side of Dee Estuary to Chester

Strong winds and astronomical tides are conspiring once again to cause damage along parts of the Wales coast warns Natural Resources Wales.

A number some Flood Warnings have been issued in areas that could be affected including Menai Strait and Aberdyfi, as well as around Aberystwyth

The north Wales side of the Dee estuary appears to be free from risk at the moment however, on the Parkgate side a flood alert is in force for the high tide at 00:45  – Flood Alert Map : http://www.shoothill.com/floodmap/

The tide height is forecast to be 5.85m AOD at Liverpool Gladstone Dock.
