Flint RNLI crew recover upturned boat at Queensferry

The Flint life boat was called out last Friday 4th April, to an upturned boat on the River Dee at Queensferry.

Flint RNLI volunteers were requested by Liverpool Coastguard to investigate the upturned boat floating in the River Dee on the Chester side of the Blue Bridge at Queensferry.

The lifboat was launched at 1:36pm from Connah’s Quay to investigate an upturned boat floating in the river.

The lifeboat drew alongside the upturned boat about 40 minutes from the initial call out ,it was found to be was unoccupied.

The boat was taken in tow and put on a safe mooring at Connahs Quay.
