Flint Coastguard called out to assist Police at Talacre Beach

Flint Coastguard were called out this afternoon to assist north Wales Police with an search at Talacre beach.

The rescue team were paged at around 1;30pm by Holyhead Coastguard Operations Centre to assist Rhyl Coastguard rescue team with a search for a ‘despondent male’ on Talacre Beach.

Officers from Flint arrived on scene and located casualty walking into the sea.

The Team quickly set up for a ‘snatch rescue’ thankfully it wasn’t needed as the man left the sea and walked to Police officer’s who were assisting the rescue team.
