Family tribute to Flintshire moped rider who tragically died in a crash last week

The family of 18-year-old Luke Edwards, from Treuddyn who sadly died following a road traffic collision in Nercwys, Mold.

Luke was killed on Wednesday 15th March while riding his moped to work, he was in collision with a Fiat 500 car on Nercwys Road.

His family has said;

“Our beautiful boy Luke was tragically taken from us while riding to work on his new moped that he had for his 18th birthday on March 2nd.

“We can only describe Luke as a kind and beautiful young man who loved life.

“His family and friends meant everything to him and he would always see the best in everyone which is why he was such a popular and likeable lad.

“Luke’s smile lit up a room and he always looked immaculate.

“He loved music and was going to see his favourite artist Kid Ink next month as well as going on a boys trip to Amsterdam.

“He had so many dreams.

“Luke has left a fracture in everyone’s heart and we’re going to miss that cheeky laugh every single day.

“A loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, Godson and above all friend.”

A man has died following a collision on Nercwys Road in Mold .
