Ewloe shut for four days as Flintshire roadworks list grows

A busy week ahead for Flintshire drivers, with closures on three main routes and temporary lights on several others.
The headline closure is on the B5125 The Highway in Ewloe, where a section between St David’s Roundabout and Carlines Avenue will be shut from 9.30am on Tuesday 26 May until 6pm on Friday 29 May as work on the St David’s Roundabout active travel scheme continues.

A lane closure will be in place on the A548 Bagillt Bypass between Greenfield and Flint, eastbound and westbound, from Tuesday 26 May to Friday 29 May for Flintshire County Council highways maintenance.
Four-way temporary lights are in place at Penyffordd Roundabout on the A550 from Monday 25 May until Thursday 4 June for active travel works.
Three-way temporary lights are also running on the A541 at its junction with the B5123 at Rhydymwyn, in place since 19 May and due to remain until 14 July.
The A548 coastal route between Mostyn and Talacre is affected by a sequence of telecoms works from Tuesday 26 May.
OCU Group will operate two-way temporary lights between Rock Hill and Isglan Road in Mostyn until 4 June, two-way lights through Gronant on Mostyn Road and a lane closure on the A548 Gronant Dual eastbound until 1 June, and four-way temporary lights between the Tyn Y Morfa junction and the Hamilton Oil Roundabout at Talacre, also until 1 June.
Victoria Road in Shotton will be closed from Tuesday 26 May until 3 June for Flintshire County Council active travel improvements.
Slack Lane at Hawarden, near Dobshill, is closed from Monday 25 May until Wednesday 27 May for Welsh Water repairs.
Elm Avenue in Flint remains closed for Wales and West Utilities gas works until Friday 29 May.
Drury Lane in Drury, Buckley, remains closed for gas works until 5 June.
In Mold, Factory Pool Lane remains closed for Anwyl Construction works as part of a long-running scheme that is not due to finish until 31 March 2027.
Three-way temporary lights will be in place on Ffordd Yr Ysgol in Flint from Monday 25 May until 10 June for Wales and West Utilities gas works.
Four-way temporary lights will be on Wrexham Road in Caergwrle on Monday 25 May and Tuesday 26 May for Welsh Water.
Three-way temporary lights will be on Fagl Lane in Hope from Tuesday 26 May until Thursday 28 May for SP Energy Networks.
Two-way temporary lights will be on Brunswick Road in Buckley from Tuesday 26 May until Thursday 28 May for Welsh Water.
Two-way temporary lights will be on Ffordd Y Llan in Treuddyn from Tuesday 26 May until Friday 29 May, also for Welsh Water.
Three-way temporary lights will be on the B5123 between the Church and Nant junctions at Rhosesmor from Tuesday 26 May until Thursday 28 May for Welsh Water.
Two-way temporary lights are on Corwen Road in Leeswood until Friday 29 May for Welsh Water.
Two-way temporary lights are on Gwernaffield Road in Mold until 31 May for construction works.
Three-way temporary lights are on Bryn Mawr Road in Holywell until Wednesday 27 May for SP Energy Networks.
Three-way temporary lights are on Sevenacre Close in Bagillt until Thursday 28 May for SP Energy Networks.
Manor Road in Broughton will have two-way temporary lights from Thursday 28 May to 1 June for Welsh Water.
Four-way temporary lights remain in place on Chester Road West in Shotton on the B5129 for the rest of the summer, with Flintshire County Council active travel improvements running until 12 September.
Two-way temporary lights are on Chester Road in Penyffordd from Tuesday 26 May until 19 June for Welsh Water.
