Emergency services dealing with an incident near Dock road Connahs Quay
Police, Ambulance, Flint Lifeboat and Coastguard are dealing with an incident near Connahs Quay docks.
The Lifeboat was called out at around 16:55
Lifeboat called to person in distress the person was rescued by lifeboat crew and taken ashore first aid was given until paramedics arrived.

The Police helicopter has also been involved and emergency vehicles were seen at the top of Flint bridge as well as the slipway near to Deeside water ski club.
We were told by one local who was fishing on the river bank that a person had jumped into the water from Flint bridge had been recovered by the Lifeboat.

As the Lifeboat came alongside the River bank four more Police vehicles were seen heading towards the car park on Dock Road blocking the road.
An Emergency Ambulance later arrived and bystanders were moved back about 100 metres from the car park area.
A coast guard officer was heard to request an Air Ambulance to the scene.

Flint Coastguard have just posted an update:
Team paged by Liverpool MRCC to assist North Wales Police to two separate incidents both despondent females threatening to jump, one on the Blue Bridge Queensferry who was in police custody when CRO arrived on scene.
The second on the Flintshire Bridge, Connah’s Quay.
Female did jump but was rescued by Flint Lifeboat Crew and transferred to an ambulance.
Also in attendance North Wales Police, Welsh Ambulance Service and Flint RNLI. Hoylake CRT also on route but stood down.
