Update 10:15 – A494 between Queensferry and Garden City – Lane back open following earlier collision all delays cleared. 

 

Latest traffic report states: “One lane closed and long delays due to crash, a lorry and a car involved on A494 North (east) bound from A550 Gladstone Way (Queensferry / Sandycroft Turn Off) to A548 (Drome Corner). Congestion to A55 J33 (Northop). Lane one (of two) is closed, affecting traffic heading towards Chester. Travel time is 35 minutes.”

Earlier report: Traffic is building on the A494 in Queensferry following a collision between a car and lorry.

The incident has happened just before the River Dee crossing on the eastbound side.

Traffic is queuing for over two miles back along the A494 up to Ewloe with delays quoted at around 20 minutes.

A traffic report for the area states: “One lane blocked and queueing traffic due to collision, a lorry and a car involved on A494.”
