Deeside MP Mark Tami joins thousands celebrating Chester Pride

Alyn and Deeside MP Mark Tami MP and Delyn Assembly Member Hannah Blythyn joined thousands of revellers at this year’s Chester Pride on Saturday.

Up to 6000 people descended on the city over the weekend for this year’s celebration, the fourth year Chester has staged a weekend of Pride events.

Mark Tami MP said;

“Equality is such an important issue and there is no place in today’s society for discrimination of any kind.

“That is why events like Pride are so important. They give us the opportunity to come together and challenge the prejudice that unfortunately does still exist in today’s society.

“It was great to see so many people here all committed to working towards a more diverse and inclusive society.”
