Connah’s Quay photographer Ben Taylor didn’t have to go far to visit one of his favourite locations for taking photographs.

Wepre Park was the venue for his latest photo shoot and theres perhaps no better place to be in Flintshire if you want to capture the golds, reds and yellows of the surrounding trees and foliage, they all add to a spectacular seasonal backdrop when captured on camera.

Father of two Ben says he’s spent a lot of time playing as a kid in the woods around Wepre, climbing red rock and running though the streams “It’s only as you get older you start appreciating the park for what it is.”

Ben who works at Huws Gray added;

“With autumn setting in the changing colours, golds, reds and yellow of the trees and the sand stone of redrock really stand out in my pictures it looks lovely this time of year, there’s also lot species of fungi out around in autumn which adds another dimension to the pictures.

“There really is plenty to see in the park, Flintshire county council and the friends of Wepre Park are doing a fantastic job in developing the area I’ve certainly noticed more and more people are using it recently.”[/vc_column_text][mp_carousel_1 carousel_images=”40794,40795,40796,40797,40798”][vc_column_text]Ben was using is Canon 7D mark2 with a Canon 70-200 mark2 IS – the Canon 7D Mark2 is a good sports and wildlife camera.
