Chester: Emergency services respond following reports a man has fallen into River Dee
Police say they are dealing with an incident at Handbridge in Chester after a man was reported to have fallen into the River Dee.
The emergency services including a police helicopter were quickly alerted and have been carrying out extensive search operations.

Alongside the police, fire and ambulance services have been actively involved in responding to the situation.
According to RNLI Flint’s website, their inshore lifeboat launched at 11.22 am today.
In a statement on social media, Chester Police said: “Emergency services are currently dealing with an incident in Handbridge, Chester.”

“At around 10.40am today, police received reports that a man had fallen into the River Dee in Chester. Police, fire and ambulance are currently at the scene and searches are ongoing.”
